The VPR Poem of the Week is Carol Frith�s �Figures on the Street,� which appeared in the Spring/Summer 2004 issue (Volume V, Number 2) of Valparaiso Poetry Review.
Carol Frith co-edits the poetry journal Ekphrasis. She is the author of a full-length collection of poems, Two for a Journey (David Robert Books, 2010). Her chapbook, Moving Like a Blue Flame, was the winner of the 2001 Medicinal Purposes chapbook competition. Never Enough Zeros was co-winner of the 2001 Palanquin Press chapbook competition. Another chapbook, In and Out of Light, was published by Bacchae Press in 2002. Her poetry has appeared in numerous literary journals, including Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, California Quarterly, Clackamas Literary Review, Cumberland Review, Cutbank, The Formalist, Midwest Quarterly, New Laurel Review, River Oak Review, Seattle Review, Smartish Pace, Sundog: the Southeast Review, and Umbrella.
